Good Morning BullBuzzers!

⚡TODAY IN 10 SECONDS
The S&P 500 closed at a record 7,818.93 on Tuesday as Google's nuclear deal sent Constellation, Talen, and Vistra up 11% to 12%, but futures are lower this morning with Brent back over $100.
Our idea is GE Vernova ($GEV), and the event to watch is the 2 PM Fed minutes.

FOCUS OF THE DAY
Secret #5: Trade The Theme, Not The Ticker
Google signed a 20-year deal to buy power from upgrades at Constellation's reactors, and the market didn't just buy Constellation. Talen jumped 12.4%, and Vistra 10.8% with no deal of their own, and utilities led every sector at +2.98%. That's a theme at work: investors repriced every company that sells round-the-clock power to AI data centers, not one headline name.
The lesson for beginners is that the ticker in the headline is usually the most crowded way to play the story. The edge is finding who else gets paid when the theme is right, then waiting for a price that doesn't require chasing a 12% gap.

📰 HEADLINES
Google's nuclear deal lights up power stocks. The 20-year agreement funds 890 megawatts of upgrades at Constellation reactors in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. $CEG closed up 12.25% at $300.40, and the rally spread to Talen and Vistra (24/7 Wall St., CNBC, stockanalysis).
Records again, but bonds push back. The S&P 500 rose 0.58% to a record 7,818.93 and the Nasdaq hit 27,599.79 as the 10-year eased to 5.27%. This morning the 10-year is back near 5.31%, and futures are lower ahead of the Fed minutes (TheStreet, Yahoo Finance, FMP).
Oil climbs back over $100. Brent is up about 1% near $101.80 after renewed attacks on tankers near Hormuz, where nearly 20 ships have been hit in a month (CNBC, Trading Economics, FMP).
Option Care gets a $5.8 billion buyout. McKesson and CD&R will pay $32.05 a share in cash, a 37% premium, for the largest independent US home-infusion provider. Shares jumped 32.65% to $31.00 (Yahoo Finance, InsideArbitrage, CD&R).
Constellation Brands beats but slips. The beer maker earned $3.74 a share versus $3.61 expected and kept its full-year outlook, but falling beer margins have $STZ down about 4.7% pre-market (StreetInsider, 24/7 Wall St., stockanalysis).
🎯 IDEA OF THE DAY

GE Vernova builds the gas turbines, grid equipment and nuclear services that keep power plants running. It ended June with a $176 billion order backlog.
Power plant owners rose 10% to 12% Tuesday because a buyer locked in their electricity for 20 years. GE Vernova sells the equipment those owners need to add capacity, and its data center orders topped $5 billion in the first half, more than double all of 2025. It rose just 4% Tuesday and closed above $1,000 for the first time since August, so the supplier gives you the theme without the 12% chase.
It reports Oct 28 at 7:30 AM, and a stock with a $176 billion backlog is priced for flawless delivery.

🔔 HEADING INTO THE OPEN
Bird's-Eye: The rally is still running on earnings, not rate cuts: Q3 profit growth is expected near 30%, and that keeps beating a 5.3% 10-year. The risk today is the 2 PM Fed minutes, with Kalshi pricing a 17% chance of an October hike. Don't add size before 2 PM; buy dips after it if the 10-year stays under 5.31%.
Ground Level: Power and chips led Tuesday, storage and biotech lagged. Seagate fell 9% on new Toshiba supply, a reminder that crowded AI winners crack fastest on competition news. Favor names still near the start of their move, like the turbine and grid suppliers, over stocks already up 200% this year.
Under The Hood: Oil is the swing factor. Brent back over $100 on tanker attacks feeds the inflation worry that put the 10-year at a 24-year high Monday. If Brent fades under $100 by the close, Delta's report Friday gets easier and rate-sensitive small caps get relief.
